Employers who can show by documentation or certification that an employee's work experience and/or training has resulted in safety video training equivalent to the safety video training required in the hazardous materials emergency plan will not be required to provide the initial safety video training requirements to such employees and will provide a copy of the certification or documentation to the employee upon request. The employer may use the safety video training as a guide in making the employer's determination as to what level of protection the employer believes is appropriate for hazardous substances and health hazards. |
