Overview:

This program demonstrates techniques for performing a safer peripheral venipuncture in an adult, using a patient-centered approach. The procedure will be demonstrated step-by-step, following the nursing process. The program also discusses the dangers of needlestick injuries and the incorporation of procedures and products into I.V. therapy practice.
