Overview:

Based on the Agency for Healthcare Policy and Research (AHCPR.) Clinical Practice Guideline "Pressure Ulcers in Adults: Prediction and Prevention," this program defines the four stages of pressure ulcer development, uses assessment tools to identify individuals at risk, and illustrates prevention methods. It also discusses how to educate patients in the prevention of pressure ulcers in the home environment.
