Significant Labor Law Poster Updates: PA Labor Law Poster Update News, July 2007 -The federal government has increased the federal minimum wage
from $5.15 per hour to $5.85 an hour. The federal minimum wage
will increase again on July 24th 2008, and once again on July
24, 2009 (to $6.55/hr. and $7.25/hr., respectively). The new
federal minimum wage notice incorporates all three of these
scheduled increases. PA Labor Law Poster Update News, August 2007 -The
state of Pennsylvania has increased its state minimum wage to to $7.15
per hour coincide with the new federal minimum wage of $5.85 per hour,
effective July 24th.
PA Labor Law Poster Update News, January 2007 -Pennsylvania
will increase its minimum wage to $6.25 an hour, effective Jan. 1,
2007. Employers with 10 or fewer employees will pay employees $5.65 an
hour minimum.
