Based on OSHA standards and recognized industry best practices, it is intended as an introductory or refresher course for general industry workers who will either operate or work near floor-controlled overhead cranes.
This course is focused on floor-operated overhead cranes, although many of the concepts will apply to all cranes. This course is not a substitute for hands-on training with a specific model of crane, or for training at a specific worksite.

Basic safe rigging concepts, including the effect of sling angle on load capacity
