Good management should improve the following areas: Your daily operations, as well as productivity. You’ll need to cut down on your duties and control time
wasted. You make the choice to use your time effectively. There are four
different ways a supervisor can track their time.
- The first is with their routine work.
- Regular jobs duties.
- Special assignments.
- Creative work.
The first thing you should do is found out where your time
is going, how it is spent, as opposed to trying to plan. Here are some tips
that can help you improve your time management skills. First of all, make up
your mind quickly. Many problems or questions can be solved with a simple yes
or no. People like to work with others who can make quick, positive decisions.
Be specific about dates and times. Know deadlines, and prepare to meet them
with planning and action. Write down specific dates and stick to them. Keep to
your work schedule so you’ll know what has to be done and when. Control the
telephone. Keep calls to a minimum, and use the phone to save time whenever it
can. Write reminders to yourself, and keep a pocket notebook or day timer to
track and schedule your time.
