Overview:

This safety program is an excellent education tool to reinforce the handling of Hazardous Chemicals in a hospital setting. Topics include: Cleaners, Testing Agents, Direct Patient Care Chemicals and Hazardous Waste. Also discusses why, when and how to use Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and what to do in the event of a spill to reduce the risk of exposure. This program reinforces the Joint Commission and NIOSH Safety Management Guidelines.
