Overview:

Based on the American Heart Association's new Guidelines 2000 for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care, this program is designed to train the general public in techniques necessary to perform CPR, including the new recommendation for the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs). Single rescuer CPR techniques for adults, children and infants are demonstrated, as well as removal of a foreign body airway obstruction (FBAO). In addition, two rescuer CPR, and the proper use of an AED is also demonstrated.
