What we need to do is take precautions to learn more about how the back operates, how to feed and strengthen it, and how to keep from putting it in danger. Because back problems can lead to pain that just won't go away and permanent disability. So what makes up the back itself? Well, it's a complex system made up of the interlocking bones of the spine, the nerves of the spinal cord, a network of smaller spinal nerves and the supporting muscles that hold it all in shape. Now what we actually need to remember about the back is that it's an incredibly fragile system that we should protect with all the backbone we can muster.
